Meet Emma Jack

MSc(PT), MClSc (Manip. Ther), FCAMPT, Sport Dip., Registered Sport and Orthopaedic Physiotherapist, Clinical Pilates Instructor

At Press Play, my aim is to help you achieve, maximize, and maintain your highest level of physical health and wellness. My bright, positive atmosphere proves that health care does not have to be boring — it can be fun! As soon as you walk through my doors, you’ll feel my passion and excitement about what I do and see that I go to great lengths in order to make you feel supported, nurtured, and empowered!

My educational background spans two universities and three degrees- honestly, my credentials are a bit of an alphabet soup. I’m a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy, hold a Diploma in Sport Physiotherapy, and am a member of the International Federation of Sport Physical Therapy. When I’m not helping patients at Press Play, I work as a therapist with various national team athletes and programs and coach fellow healthcare entrepreneurs to help them achieve success personally and professionally.

Though I’m currently unable to take on new clients in my practice, I’d be delighted to help you find the right practitioner to suit your needs. Please feel free to reach out, I want you to find the healthcare you deserve.

Physiotherapy

I understand that recovering from an injury is not always easy or fun, but I’m committed to helping you through a time of amazing transformation. Through my years of experience, I’ve seen that the greatest outcomes come from supporting the whole person, not just the injury. That’s why I’m committed to ensuring you receive one-on-one care, high levels of support, and some laughter along the way.

Emma has incredible insight into the underlying nature of the pain or discomfort you are feeling and gets to the root cause. She educates you about your body so that you can help yourself and understand what’s going on to cause your pain.

Go!

Clinical Pilates for your overall health

Today, everyone from professional athletes (yes, even Lebron) to older adults are practicing Pilates. The principles and benefits are universal! A body that’s evenly balanced and conditioned allows for greater body awareness, performance, and injury prevention. Exercises within the Pilates repertoire challenge the body and mind to work together. To me, Pilates is such a compliment to the world of physiotherapy and I’m thrilled to be able to offer both 1-1 Clinical Pilates sessions as well as rehab based group classes.
